Air Fryer Beef & Cheese Pastry Pots
These individual beef and cheese pastry pots are packed with layers of seasoned minced beef, fresh spinach, tomato, pickled gherkins, cheddar cheese and hamburger sauce, all tucked inside store bought wholemeal pastry. The minced beef is cooked on the stovetop before assembly. Finished in the air fryer with a generous layer of melted mozzarella, they have crispy pastry edges and a soft, creamy, tender centre. Served straight from their little ramekins with green chilli sauce on the side, they make a satisfying meal for three.

Ingredients
- Store bought wholemeal pastry slices, enough to line 3 ramekins
- 250 g minced beef
- Olive oil, to taste
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Soy sauce, to taste
- Worcestershire sauce, to taste
- Teriyaki sauce, to taste
- Fresh spinach leaves, enough for two layers in each pot
- 1 tomato, sliced
- Pickled gherkins, sliced, quantity to taste
- 3 tablespoons ready made hamburger sauce, 1 tablespoon per pot
- Approximately 4½ slices cheddar cheese, around 1½ slices per pot
- 90 to 120 g shredded mozzarella, approximately 30 to 40 g per pot, or to taste
- Fresh coriander, chopped, for garnish
- Ready made green chilli sauce, for serving
Method
- 01
Cook the 250 g minced beef on the stovetop with olive oil, salt, black pepper, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce and teriyaki sauce until fully cooked. Set aside for assembling the pots.
- 02
Arrange pieces of store bought wholemeal pastry inside three air fryer safe ramekins. Overlap the pastry to line the bases and sides, allowing the edges to extend above the rims. No special ramekin preparation is needed.
- 03
Place fresh spinach leaves inside each pastry lined ramekin. Add a portion of the cooked minced beef, then a slice of tomato and sliced pickled gherkins.

- 04
Add 1 tablespoon of ready made hamburger sauce to each pot. Layer approximately 1½ slices of cheddar cheese into each pot.

- 05
Add another layer of cooked minced beef. Top with more fresh spinach leaves and a final tomato slice.

- 06
Place the three filled ramekins in the COSORI Dual Blaze. Without preheating, cook at 180°C for 10 minutes. No flipping or turning is required. The pastry edges should become golden and crisp, while the tomato and spinach soften.

- 07
Carefully add approximately 30 to 40 g shredded mozzarella to the top of each pot, or according to preference. Return the ramekins to the air fryer and cook at 190°C for 2 minutes. The cheese should melt and develop golden spots.

- 08
Carefully remove the hot ramekins. Sprinkle with chopped fresh coriander and serve in the ramekins with ready made green chilli sauce on the side.
The 20-minute preparation time includes cooking the minced beef on the stovetop and assembling the pots. The 12-minute air fryer cooking time is two separate stages: 180°C for 10 minutes, followed by the mozzarella topping and 190°C for 2 minutes.

Use air fryer safe ramekins that fit comfortably inside the basket.
Allow the pastry edges to extend above the ramekin rims for the crispy finish, while ensuring they do not contact the heating element.
Keep the two cooking stages separate. The mozzarella is added only after the first 10 minutes.
Handle the ramekins carefully after cooking because they will be hot.
Adjust the amount of shredded mozzarella to your liking.
Serve directly in the ramekins with ready made green chilli sauce.
